- Summary:
- This is the first printed edition of the Glossa Ordinaria, the text of the Latin Vulgate with the standard commentary attributed to the 9th century Benedictine monk Walfrid Strabp, but composed in the late 11th and early 12 century by Anselm of Laon, Ralph of Laon and Gilbert of Auxerre.

- Latin
- Physical Type/Description:
- 4 volumes (1,211 unnumbered leaves) ; 46 cm (folio)
- General Note:
- Ascribed to Amerbach by A. Hartmann in Amerbach-korrespondenz (1942), I, 2 n. 2. The printing, however, seems to have been done by Rusch at Strassburg with types borrowed from Amerbach: see F. Geldner, "Amerbach-Studien", Archiv für Geschichte des Buchwesens, 23 (1982), cols 684-88.
GW dates shortly after 23 September 1481, but manuscript notes in the Sion College copy and in Cambridge University Library Inc.0.A.2.4[95] (Oates 124) are dated 1480.
